What are the differences between T8 and T5 LED tubes?
T8 and T5 LED tube models are widely used today, although each has its own characteristics and features that make them specially suited to certain types of environment.
T8 models have a larger diameter than T5 tubes and are also on average up to five centimetres longer.
Because they are smaller and easier to manage, T5 LED tubes are often also used as lighting systems in homes and other domestic environments.
T8 LED tubes emit a more powerful light than T5 tubes, making them a perfect choice for lighting garages, workshops or certain commercial premises where the light will remain on for long periods.
As a stable light source that doesn't flicker or buzz, T8 LED tubes are an excellent choice for spaces where concentration and the absence of noise are essential. These include schools, libraries, offices, coworking spaces and yoga and meditation centres.
